A blend of industrial heritage and contemporary design: For the showroom in the historic Berlin Brake Works complex, where the Knorr brake was once developed, a modern, flexible office was designed alongside an exhibition space for the brand's history and products. Plants, natural materials, reflective surfaces and a play of light and shadow characterize the modern workspaces. The exhibition is arranged in an open plan that leads the visitor through the long room, with a variety of work areas and meeting arrangements placed throughout the space. Soft curtain walls divide the space flexibly and add a warm, tactile layer to the raw walls of the former production facility. The office kitchen doubles as a bar at night, catering for the many different events that take place here.
